Lubbock, TX – Juvenile Killed in Crash on FM 829
Lubbock, TX (December 12, 2019) – A motor vehicle accident on Farm to Market Road 829 claimed one victim’s life on Wednesday.
Just after 8 a.m., on December 11, authorities responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Farm to Market Road 829. Reports indicate that a juvenile was traveling south along the roadway when their vehicle collided head-on with a northbound vehicle, which was driven by 64-year-old Merl S. Larsen.
The 16-year-old teen sustained fatal injuries in the collision.
At this time, the Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the cause of the collision.
