Odessa, TX – Man Injured in Dog Attach on N Adams Ave
Odessa, TX (December 13, 2019) – On December 12th, the Odessa Police Department responded to the scene of a dog attack in the 3100 block of North Adams Avenue.
According to reports, at approximately 12:22 p.m., an 80-year-old male was riding his bicycle along North Adams Avenue when a pit bull attacked him. The man fell from his bicycle and was then bitten again by the dog on the hand.
Police arrived at the scene to find an aggressive dog, which rapidly approached the officer. The officer shot and killed the dog.
The victim was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
