Grangerland, TX – Woman Injured in Head-On Collision On FM 3083
Grangerland, TX (December 14, 2019) On the 12th of December, a head-on collision occurred on FM 3083, near Loop 336. The Montgomery County Sherrif’s Office started receiving calls just after 9:00 p.m. about a black Jeep that was speeding and crashing into motorists.
The Jeep entered a wrong lane, sped through a red light, and struck a Mazda head-on as it was turning on Old Houston Road. As a result of the collision, the Jeep rolled over into a ditch.
Caney Creek Fire Department had to extricate the female driver out of her Mazda and paramedics rushed her to Conroe Regional Hospital for treatment of a leg injury.
The driver of the Jeep was charged with driving while intoxicated after he failed a sobriety test.
This accident is still under investigation by authorities.
