Head-On Collisions in Texas

Hunt County, TX - 1 Killed In Head-On Collision On State Hwy 11In 2017, statistics show that almost 600 people lost their lives in head-on collisions in Texas. Because these types of accidents are considered the most dangerous, those involved have an 80 percent chance of losing their lives. Those who sustain severe injuries often suffer from broken bones, contusions, concussions, traumatic brain injuries, and/or organ damage.
Most of the time head-on collisions are caused by drunk or fatigued drivers since the body responds similarly under both circumstances. Because almost all head-on collisions stem from negligent driving, at-fault drivers should be held financially liable for their actions.
