Pedestrian Accidents in Texas
Approximately 615 pedestrians lost their lives on Texas roads in 2017. When pedestrians are hit late at night, the cause can be drunk driving, fatigued driving, or distracted driving. Sometimes roads are too dark and make it hard for drivers to see pedestrians before it’s too late. Other times pedestrians contribute to accidents by wearing dark clothing and walking outside of marked crosswalks.
When families lose their loved ones in pedestrian accidents, they have the right to file wrongful death lawsuits if the driver was completely at fault for the accident.
At The Benton Law Firm, we understand how traumatic it is to suddenly lose a loved one and how stressful it can be to pay for funeral expenses, medical bills, and more.
