Houston, TX – 1 Killed & 2 Injured in Fatal Collision on Katy Fwy Near I-610
Houston, TX (December 15, 2019) Two vehicles collided on the morning of December 15th on the Katy Freeway, not far from the I-610. According to the Houston Police Department, a Chevy Impala rear-ended a Lexus ES-300 at around 12:30 a.m.
When emergency crews arrived, they found all three of the occupants inside of the Lexus suffering from injuries. One of the passengers was transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital but later died from her injuries. The driver and other passenger were also taken to nearby hospitals for treatment of less critical injuries. The driver of the Chevy did not sustain injuries.
The police are still investigating what led up to this deadly crash.
