Brownfield, TX – Two Injured in Explosion on S 2nd St Identified
Brownfield, TX (December 16, 2019) – The two victims injured in an explosion on 2nd Street Thursday have been identified.
On December 12, authorities responded to the scene of an incident in the 200 block of South 2nd Street at approximately 11:20 a.m.
According to reports, Gustavo Perez and Sergio Mendez were both inside the home when a propane tank in the living room exploded.
Both Perez and Mendez were seriously injured in the incident. Both men were transported to Brownfield Regional Medical Center for emergency treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
