Lubbock, TX – 1 Killed in N Slide Rd Crash

Lubbock, TX (December 16, 2019) – A motor vehicle accident on North Slide Road claimed one teen’s life on Sunday.

At approximately 10:30 p.m., on December 15, authorities responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 5100 block of Erskine Avenue.

According to reports, a pickup truck was traveling north along North Slide Road when it collided with a Nissan Altima at the intersection of Erskine Avenue.

The driver of the pickup truck, who was identified as a 16-year-old male, incurred fatal injuries in the collision and was declared deceased on site.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
