Austin, TX – Woman Killed in Train Accident on Duval Rd

Austin, TX (December 17, 2019) – Around 3:15 p.m., on December 15, authorities rushed to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident in the 4000 block of Duval Road.

According to reports, a pedestrian was attempting to cross the train tracks on Duval Road, near the San Marin Apartment complex, when she was struck by a Union Pacific train.

The female victim incurred fatal injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
