Austin, TX – Man Killed in Bus Accident on E Oltorf St
Austin, TX (December 19, 2019) – One male pedestrian lost his life after a bus accident on East Oltorf Street.
Just after 7:30 p.m., on December 13, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 2000 block of East Oltorf Street.
Reports from the Austin Police Department indicate a Hispanic male was exiting a blue and silver Capital Metro bus and entered up onto the sidewalk. As the bus pulled away, the pedestrian fell under it and was ran over by the rear-end of the bus.
The victim was rushed to Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas where he succumbed to his injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
