Austin, TX – Pedestrian Killed in Accident on TX-71

Austin, TX (December 20, 2019) – On December 19th, authorities responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Texas Highway 71. According to reports, around 6:51 a.m., a pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway, near Scenic Brook Drive, when they were struck by a motor vehicle.

The pedestrian incurred fatal injuries in the collision and was declared deceased at the scene.

At this time, the Austin Police Department is investigating the collision.
