Austin, TX – 1 Killed In Pedestrian Accident On I-35In 2018, reports indicate that 76 percent of all pedestrian fatalities occurred at night throughout the country. Nighttime driving is a huge contributing factor because it’s harder for drivers to see pedestrians at night, especially if they’re wearing dark clothing and walking in unmarked crosswalks. Because drunk drivers are often on the road at night, they are also less likely to see pedestrians before it’s too late.
