Hit-and-Run Accidents in Texas
Between 2015 and 2016, Texas had a 30 percent increase in hit-and-run collisions. Most of the time hit-and-run collisions are a result of drivers consciously driving negligently on the road but fear getting caught by authorities. Sometimes these drivers are in stolen vehicles, under the influence, on drugs, or have a recent criminal history. When drivers leave the scene of an accident, they risk suffering worse consequences than they would have if they would have just remained at the crash site and rendered aid.
At The Benton Law Firm, we have spent nearly 20 years helping our injured clients file and win personal injury lawsuits.
