Pedestrian Accidents in Texas
At least one pedestrian is hit almost every day somewhere in Texas. Unfortunately, when pedestrians are hit between the hours of midnight and 6:00 a.m., the cause can be largely attributed to drunk driving. When drivers are intoxicated behind the wheel late at night, it’s difficult for them to clearly see pedestrians crossing the street, especially if they’re wearing dark clothing. Other times drivers are fatigued or distracted right before striking someone.
No matter the cause of the accident, if the pedestrian was not at fault, families can file wrongful death lawsuits against all liable drivers.
At The Benton Law Firm, we are passionate about legally assisting families with filing wrongful death lawsuits because we understand how difficult it is to lose a loved one. We don’t believe families should have to endure the emotional trauma of loss, as well as stress over medical bills and funeral expenses. If you are interested in filing a wrongful death lawsuit against a negligent driver, contact our office today for a free consultation at (214) 219-4878.
