Stanton, TX – Lauren Gillum ID’d as TX-137 Crash Victim
Stanton, TX (December 24, 2019) – A motor vehicle accident on Friday claimed one victim’s life in Stanton.
On December 20, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Texas Highway 137 just after 1 p.m.
According to reports, 30-year-old Eric Bryce was traveling south along the highway when his vehicle collided with a semi-truck.
A passenger inside Bryce’s vehicle, who was identified as Lauren Gillum, sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was declared deceased at the scene.
Bryce was seriously injured and rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
At this time, the Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating.
