McKinney, TX – 1 Person Killed in Fire on Drexel St

McKinney, TX (December 25, 2019) – A fire on Monday claimed one person’s life in McKinney.

On December 23, just after 6 a.m., the McKinney Fire Department responded to the scene of a fire incident near Drexel Street.

According to reports, a fire broke out in a wooded area near Drexel Street and Center Street during the early morning hours. Crews arrived at the scene to find the campsite engulfed in flames.

Once the fire was out, firefighters discovered the body of a deceased male in the debris.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
