Orange, TX (December 25, 2019) – One woman remains hospitalized after being struck by a train on Link Avenue.
At approximately 5 p.m., on December 25, authorities responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 1400 block of Link Avenue. According to reports, a female pedestrian was walking across the tracks on the roadway, near Burton Avenue, when she was struck by a train.
The female victim sustained serious injuries. She was flown from the scene of the incident to CHRISTUS Hospital St. Elizabeth for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
