UPDATE: Amarillo, TX –Freddy Buckingham Killed in E Amarillo Blvd (I-40BL) Crash

Amarillo, TX (December 25, 2015) – The victim killed in the East Amarillo Boulevard collision has been identified by police.

On December 24, authorities reported to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on East Amarillo Boulevard.

Reports from authorities indicate that 53-year-old Freddy Buckingham was traveling east in a 2006 Lincoln when his vehicle collided with a semi-truck on the roadway. The impact of the collision caused the Lincoln to spin out into the westbound lane where it was struck by a 2018 Chevy Camaro.

Buckingham sustained critical injuries and was rushed to an area hospital. Authorities confirmed that he sadly succumbed to his injuries.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
