Austin, TX – Girl Critically Injured in Fall Incident on Courtyard Dr
Austin, TX (December 27, 2019) – On December 26th, authorities were called to the scene of an incident just after 10:15 a.m. in the 5400 block of Courtyard Drive. Reports indicate that a female pedestrian was walking her dog near the Pennybacker Bridge when she fell from a cliff.
The girl suffered extensive traumatic injuries due to the fall. The Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services responded and lifted the girl via rope rescue. The girl was rushed to Dell Seton Medical Center via medical helicopter.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
