Wichita Falls, TX – Woman Injured in Dog Attack on Welch St
Wichita Falls, TX (December 27, 2019) – On December 24th, Wichita Falls Police Department responded to the scene of an incident in the 600 block of Welch Street. Reports indicate that a 58-year-old woman was seriously injured during the evening hours after being attacked by a pit bull.
The woman, who was not publicly identified by police, incurred serious injuries to her head, ankle, and forearm. The victim was transported to an area hospital for medical treatment.
At this time, Animal Control Services and the police department are currently investigating.
