Vehicle Collisions in Texas
Nearly half a million collisions involving 18-wheeler trucks occur annually throughout the United States. Most truck accidents are caused by driver’s inattention, driver’s fatigue, mechanical errors, and hazardous weather conditions. Employers require truck drivers to follow strict guidelines in order to keep drivers safe along with everyone else on the road. Truck drivers must log everything pertaining to their truck during their shift, and they are only allowed to drive on the road for a certain amount of time before they have to rest. When truck drivers fail to abide by these regulations, they risk harming themselves and everyone else around them.
