UPDATE: Franklin, TX – 6-Year-Old Killed In Hit-And-Run Accident On FM 46
Franklin, TX (December 28, 2019) On December 25th, a hit-and-run accident happened on Farm to Market 46 near Morgan Lane. According to reports, an 18-year-old driver was traveling in a 2002 Ford Ranger on FM 46 when she hit a 6-year-old child who was riding in a 4-wheeler.
The teen kept driving without stopping to render aid to the child.
The paramedics arrived and rushed the child to a Houston hospital for treatment of serious injuries. He ultimately died on December 27th despite days of medical treatment.
Authorities eventually found and arrested the 18-year-old driver for failure to stop and render aid with serious injuries.
