Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accidents
Unfortunately, thousands of hit-and-run accidents and pedestrian accidents occur annually. When drivers fail to stop and help the victims they strike, they risk suffering extreme consequences, such as large fines and extended prison time. Most hit-and-run accidents are caused by drivers who know they are at fault for accidents. When drivers are under the influence, in stolen vehicles, in unregistered cars, or in uninsured cars, they are more likely to leave the scene of an accident they cause.
Drivers who participate in hit-and-run accidents should be held financially responsible for all damages and losses they cause.
