Houston, TX – Mail Worker Injured in Attack on Cederdale Dr

Houston, TX (December 30, 2019) – A postal service worker was seriously injured on the job on Saturday.

On December 22, authorities were called to the scene of a horrific incident on Cedardale Drive. Reports indicate that a mail carrier was performing duties of his job on Cederdale Drive, near Gessner Road, when he was attacked during the early afternoon hours.

According to reports, an unidentified individual came up behind the worker and shot him in the back one time and again in the lower abdomen.

The worker was seriously injured and rushed to an area hospital for treatment.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
