Randall County, TX – Carlos Olvera Killed in US-60 Crash
Randall County, TX (December 31, 2019) – A motor vehicle accident involving a train on US Highway 60 claimed one man’s life.
Just before 5 a.m., on December 30, emergency crews were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on US Highway 60. Reports from police indicate that 21-year-old Carlos Olvera was attempting to cross through the intersection of Farm to Market Road 168 and US Highway 60 when his vehicle was struck by a train.
The impact of the collision sent the vehicle approximately 2000-feet down the track.
Olvera incurred fatal injuries in the collision and was declared deceased at the scene.
At this time, police are investigating.
