Waco, TX – Erica Lanier ID’d as Victim Killed in I-35 Collision
Waco, TX (January 1, 2020) – A horrific motor vehicle accident on Interstate 35 claimed one victim’s life and left a second person critically injured.
At approximately 5 a.m., on December 10, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 35. Reports indicate that Richard Lanier and his wife, Erica Lanier, were traveling along the interstate.
Wet road conditions caused their vehicle to spin out before it was struck by a semi-truck near West Adams Avenue/Central Avenue.
Mrs. Lanier was declared deceased at the scene.
Mr. Richard Lanier was critically injured and rushed to Scott & White Medical Center for treatment.
At this time, police are investigating.
