Fort Bend County, TX – 1 Killed in Pedestrian Crash on FM 1092

Fort Bend County, TX (January 2, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Farm to Market Road 1092 left one person dead and one in prison.

On December 30, authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Farm to Market Road 1092. Reports from police indicate that a male pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway, near the intersection of Dove County Drive, when they were struck by a motor vehicle.

The victim incurred fatal injuries in the collision.

The driver of the vehicle, who was identified as Jeffrey Yurcak, was arrested and charged with DWI.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
