UPDATE: Houston, TX – James Hubbs Killed in DUI Accident on Genoa Red Bluff Rd

Houston, TX (January 2, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident left one man dead and another injured.

On December 31, at approximately 3:40 a.m., 24-year-old James Hubbs was traveling along Genoa Red Bluff Road, near Space Center Boulevard, when his motorcycle collided with a small four-door sedan.

The impact of the collision caused both vehicles to burst into flames.

Sadly, Hubbs incurred fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.

The driver of the second vehicle, who was identified as 30-year-old Stephen Dario Rodriguez, was injured and transported to Clear Lake Regional Hospital.

Rodriguez was subsequently arrested and charged with DWI after this incident.

At this time, police are investigating.
