UPDATE: Nacogdoches, TX – Laverne Qualls ID’d as Park St Crash Victim

Nacogdoches, TX (January 3, 2020) – The victim killed in the tragic collision on Park Street Tuesday has been identified by police.

On December 31st, around 9:00 p.m., authorities rushed to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on Park Street. According to reports, 44-year-old Laverne Qualls was attempting to cross the roadway, near the intersection of Crisp Road, when she was struck by a motor vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle, identified as 32-year-old Jimmy Dewayne Watts, remained at the scene of the incident.

Qualls sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was declared deceased at the scene.
