Pedestrian Accidents in Texas
About 16 percent of all traffic fatalities are pedestrian fatalities. There has been a 41 percent increase in the number of pedestrian fatalities throughout the country since 2008. Unfortunately, more and more pedestrians are losing their lives because of negligence on U.S. roads. Drivers are required to yield or stop for pedestrians no matter who has the right-of-way. When drivers fail to do so, they should be held completely financially responsible for damages and losses.
At The Benton Law Firm, we understand how traumatic it is for families to suddenly lose their loved ones in pedestrian accidents, which is why we work hard to handle all of the legal particulars as we encourage them to grieve and heal.
