Pedestrian Accidents in Texas

San Antonio, TX – Woman Killed In Pedestrian Accident On Blanco RdEveryday vehicles strike pedestrians somewhere in Texas. Unfortunately, these accidents keep happening for the same reason – negligence. Drivers are expected to be alert at all times, especially at night when their surroundings are harder to see. When drivers fail to pay attention or allow themselves to get distracted, they risk accidentally striking people who are crossing the street.

Sometimes pedestrians contribute to being hit when they walk in unmarked crosswalks late at night wearing dark clothing. However, drivers are still expected to yield or come to a complete stop as they approach pedestrians.

At the Benton Law Firm, we inform families that they may be eligible to file wrongful death lawsuits against negligent drivers who hit their loved ones. Due to the complexity of these lawsuits, it’s important that the deceased victims were not at fault for the accident in order for us to successful prove negligence and help families win adequate settlements.
