Dallas, TX – Construction Worker Killed on Lakeland Dr

Dallas, TX (January 9, 2020) – A workplace accident claimed one victim’s life on Wednesday.

On January 8, the Dallas Police Department responded to the scene of a fatal workplace accident in the 1200 block of Lakeland Drive.

Reports indicate that a male worker was performing duties in the area when he was struck by a cherry picker vehicle. The pedestrian was then trapped beneath the vehicle.

Crews arrived at the scene to provide the patient with care. Sadly, the 52-year-old male victim succumbed to his injuries.

At this time, the Dallas Police Department’s Traffic Unit is investigating.
