Longview, TX – Woman Injured in Crash on Clinic Dr
Longview, TX (January 9, 2020) – A woman was seriously injured in a collision at the US Social Security Office on Wednesday.
On January 8, authorities were called to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on Clinic Drive.
Reports indicate that just after 11 a.m., a car was in the handicap parking spot when the driver attempted to reverse. Rather than going backward, the vehicle accelerated forward at a high rate of speed and crashed through the building.
A woman standing on the sidewalk was struck by the motor vehicle. The woman sustained injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
