Lubbock, TX – Pedestrian Killed in Accident on S Loop 289
Lubbock, TX (January 10, 2020) – At around 2:15 a.m., on January 10th, the Lubbock Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on South Loop 289.
Reports indicate that a pedestrian was attempting to cross the roadway, near Avenue P, when they were fatally struck by a motor vehicle.
Crews arrived and declared the victim deceased at the scene.
At this time, the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
