Pedestrian Accidents in Texas
Every day, someone loses their life in a pedestrian accident in Texas. Most pedestrian accidents are caused by negligence, which means they can be avoided.
When drivers are distracted on the road and fail to check their surroundings, they risk accidentally running over pedestrians who may have the right of way.
Drivers are expected to yield at the scene of an accident, especially if they see emergency responders tending to victims at the crash site. When drivers are not paying attention and disregarding traffic laws, they risk striking emergency responders and others. When this occurs, drivers should be held financially liable for all damages they cause.
