Pedestrian Accidents in Texas
Most pedestrian accidents result from driver’s inattentiveness and mainly occur at intersections. When drivers are looking down at their cell phones, eating, putting on makeup, turning around to chat with passengers, and more, they risk accidentally striking a pedestrian, especially late at night. Drivers are expected to be alert at all times, even in places pedestrians where wouldn’t normally be. When drivers fail to do this, they are liable to be sued by the injured victims or the immediate family members of the deceased victims.
