UPDATE: Lubbock, TX – Abraham Moreno Killed In Hit-And-Run Accident On S. Loop 289
Lubbock, TX (January 11, 2020) On the 10th of January, a serious hit and run pedestrian accident occurred at 1:18 a.m. in the 1900 block of South Loop 289.
According to reports, a vehicle was headed eastbound on South Loop 289 when it hit a pedestrian and fled the scene. Emergency crews found the man lying in the roadway after a second vehicle hit him. The driver of the second vehicle called 911 and remained at the scene.
The pedestrian did not survive his injuries. He has been identified as 35-year-old Abraham Moreno.
Investigators are still searching for the driver responsible for hitting Moreno.
