Pedestrian Accidents in San Antonio
Around June of 2019, about 25 pedestrians lost their lives after being hit by vehicles in San Antonio. Often times when drivers strike pedestrians at night, the cause is usually drunk driving or distracted driving. It’s unfortunate when pedestrians are hit by vehicles because they can easily sustain injuries that are severe, catastrophic, or fatal.
Because drivers are operating large vehicles that could easily harm pedestrians, they are required to remain alert at all times. When they don’t, they risk the possibility of taking someone’s life.
At The Benton Law Firm, we help injured pedestrians file personal injury lawsuits against negligent drivers so they can receive compensation for injuries and more. Medical treatment can cost thousands of dollars depending on the type of injuries sustained, which is why we work hard to hold all negligent parties responsible.
