Whitney, TX – 2 Injured in Fire Off Lone Star St
Whitney, TX (January 13, 2020) – A major fire incident on Lone Star Street resulted in injuries.
At approximately 7:42 p.m., on January 11, authorities were called to the scene of a major fire incident. Crews from 2604, Lakeview, and Whitney Fire Departments responded to battle the blaze in a home near the intersection of a Lone Star Street and Pinto Ridge Road.
Two victims who were occupying the home were seriously injured in this incident. One victim was transported via Air Evac to an area hospital for treatment. A second victim was rushed to an area hospital via CareFlite Are for treatment.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
