Austin, TX – Leon Jay Harvey Killed in N Mopac Expressway Crash

Austin, TX (January 14, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Saturday claimed one man’s life.

At around 11:50 a.m., on January 11, the Austin Police Department was called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident. Reports indicate that 42-year-old Leon Jay Harvey was traveling along the 12600 block of North Mopac Expressway in a white 2015 Toyota Prius when his vehicle collided with a black 2013 Ford F150.

Harvey sustained fatal injuries in the collision and was immediately declared deceased.

The driver of the Ford was uninjured.

At this time, the APD’s Vehicular Homicide Unit Detectives are investigating.
