Houston, TX – Zachary Jackson Killed in Eastex Fwy Crash
Houston, TX (January 14, 2020) – A hit and run accident claimed one man’s life on Sunday.
During the early morning hours of January 12, authorities were called to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident in the 11500 block of the Eastex Freeway.
Reports indicate that a man and woman were traveling along the roadway when their vehicle began experiencing some problems. The male driver of the vehicle pulled over into the third lane to change the tire.
As the man and woman stood outside of the vehicle, they were both struck by a silver SUV. The driver of the SUV then fled the scene of the accident.
The woman was injured in the collision and rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
The male victim, who was later identified as 38-year-old Zachary Jackson, sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
