Denton, TX – Melissa K. Rodriguez Succumbs to Injuries from Dallas Dr Crash

Denton, TX (January 15, 2020) – A woman critically injured in a pedestrian accident on Dallas Drive has died.

At around 7:20 p.m., on January 9, authorities in Denton responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 200 block of Dallas Drive. Reports indicate that 51-year-old Melissa K. Rodriguez was attempting to cross the roadway near the intersection of Dallas Drive and Johnson Street when she was struck by a motor vehicle.

Rodriguez was critically injured and rushed to Medical City Denton for treatment.

Sadly, authorities confirmed that the victims succumbed to her injuries three days later.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation by the Denton Police Department.
