Copperas Cove, TX – William Ames ID’d as Victim Killed in S 7th St Collision

Copperas Cove, TX (January 17, 2020) – On January 13th, at around 6:40 a.m., authorities were called to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on South 7th Street. Reports indicate that a pedestrian was struck by a motor vehicle along the roadway. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without stopping.

Police arrived at the scene and pronounced the victim deceased. Authorities later identified the victim as 32-year-old William Ames.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation with the Copperas Cove Police Department.
