Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accidents
Thousands of pedestrians lose their lives every year across the country after being hit by vehicles that fail to remain at the scene. When drivers speed off after striking someone, the cause is usually fear of going to jail or paying fines. Drivers may also not have up-to-date insurance or their car may not be registered. They could even be driving with a suspended license. No matter the reason, when drivers choose to leave the scene instead of render aid and cooperate with authorities, they end up suffering worse consequences once they’re caught.
