Kilgore, TX – Two Teens Killed in FM 349 Collision with Semi-Truck
Kilgore, TX (January 20, 2020) – A major motor vehicle accident on Thursday claimed the lives of two teens and left two others injured.
Just before midnight on January 16, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of a motor vehicle collision on Farm to Market Road 349. Reports indicate that a 17-year-old male was driving a 2004 Nissan Altima when his vehicle collided with an 18-wheeler at the intersection of US Highway 259.
The driver of the Altima was declared deceased at the scene of the accident. A 17-year-old male passenger inside the Altima was transported to Good Shepard Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Two other victims inside the Altima, who were identified as a 16-year-old male and a 17-year-old female were both injured and transported to Good Shepard Medical Center for treatment.
At this time, police are investigating.
