Harris County, TX – Woman Injured in Crash on Airline Dr
Harris County, TX (January 21, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Monday resulted in serious injuries.
Just after midnight on January 20, authorities responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 9100 block of Airline Drive. Reports indicate that a Toyota was traveling north on Airline Drive when it was struck by a BMW near Little York Road.
The impact of the collision sent the Toyota through a gate. The vehicle came to rest in the parking lot for the Cathedral of Saint Matthew.
The driver of the BMW attempted to flee from the scene of the incident but the vehicle broke down and burst into flames. The driver was arrested for this incident.
The female driver was rushed to an area hospital with injuries.
At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
