Nacogdoches, TX – Keith Michael McElvain Killed in Airplane Crash near TX-204
Nacogdoches, TX (January 21, 2020) – A plane accident in Cherokee County claimed one man’s life.
At around 3 p.m., on January 20, the Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene of an accident near Highway 204. Reports from DPS indicate that around 12:05 p.m., 76-year-old Keith Michael McElvain took off in a Cessna 150 from the Cherokee County Airport.
McElvain sustained fatal injuries in the accident and was declared deceased.
At this time, DPS is investigating.
