Port Arthur, TX – Catherine Leday Killed in US-69 Pedestrian Accident
Port Arthur, TX (January 21, 2020) – A woman sadly lost her life in a motor vehicle accident on Sunday.
On January 19, at around 3:49 a.m., the Port Arthur Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in the 5100 block of US Highway 69. Reports indicate that 31-year-old Catherine Leday was attempting to cross the roadway, just before the exit for Texas Highway 73, when she was struck by a motor vehicle.
Leday sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased at the scene.
At this time, police are investigating.
