El Paso, TX – Rafael Montes de Oca Reynos Killed in Crash on TX-375 Loop

El Paso, TX (January 22, 2020) – A motor vehicle accident on Monday claimed one person’s life.

At around 6:45 a.m., on January 20, the El Paso Police Department responded to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Loop 375 near mile marker 56.

Reports indicate that 60-year-old Rafael Montes de Oca Reynos was traveling down the roadway in a 2017 Italika Motorcycle when his vehicle was rear-ended by a 2012 Chevrolet Tahoe marked border control vehicle, which was driven by 50-year-old Roberto Enrique Rivera.

The motorcyclist incurred fatal injuries in the collision and was declared deceased at the scene.

At this time, police are investigating.
