Hallettsville, TX – Two Victims Killed in US-90 Crash ID’d by Police
Hallettsville, TX (January 24, 2020) – At around 11:20 a.m., on January 22nd, authorities were called to the scene of a major motor vehicle accident on US Highway 90.
Reports indicate that 30-year-old Dedra Lynn Knott and 30-year-old Laura Edith Gunter were traveling in a Chevrolet Trailblazer on the highway when their vehicle was struck by a semi-truck.
Both Knott and Gunter incurred fatal injuries and were declared deceased at the scene.
The driver of the semi-truck, identified as 32-year-old Steffinie Ryan Blankenship, was transported to Lavaca Medical Center with minor injuries.
At this time, police are investigating.
